"choose it as your last resort. not a family friendly company. it's great if you are single"

"little to no help from management. company policies change day to day. make your quota or get out attitude."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"be realistic with the way the economy is. have more knowledge of your tasks at hand and don't just be a yes man"

What do you like about working at Schwan's?

"Working with the customers was fantastic. Most people were very happy to see you every other week. The products you sell are excellent and for the convenience it's not cheap but it is reasonable."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be yourself because with all the hours you put in dishonesty in the interview process will shine through."

What don't you like about working at Schwan's?

"The hours were terrible. When I worked there 8am-8pm was a normal day. It was also commission only so you were at the mercy of your customer's schedules. I have heard they have switched to base+commission so that has to be an improvement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The hours have to be cut back. Your staff needs time to have a life of their own. Using holidays as an excuse to reschedule routes is ridiculous."
