What do you like about working at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union?
"I love working with the people in my team. I also love the work environment."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The motto of this company is Member Service. You need to show them that you have good interpersonal skills as well as positive attitude. My manager told us that how a person would fit in her team is one of the major criteria that she looks for during an interview. So much so that she has turned down a very qualified person for someone that might not have as much qualifications just because she thinks the former might not fit in well with her team."
What don't you like about working at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union?
"Minimal opportunity of upward growth. I can't fault them though since we were in a middle of the financial crisis of 2008 to 2009. I'm very thankful that I have a job during that time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I didn't have any suggestion for management. The CEO is doing an excellent job!"
"It's a wonderful place to work. There are times when one feels stuck in their position with little room to move up. Often times positions are created for people who are favored and other hard-working individuals are overlooked. Even with that, it's still an awesome place to work if not only for the individuals the cream of the crop one gets to work with daily."
"This company requires you to incorporate its culture into your private life too, which I think is too invasive. Although they promote a collective culture, I don't know if forcing it upon everyone is a good thing to do."
"This is a great company that unfortunately offers little internal opportunity; from a guy that's been promoted twice in the past three years."
