"That's a tough question for me for this employer."

What don't you like about working at Schawk!?

"They failed to capitalize on the human resource and intellectual property they acquired in a merger."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Upper management does not need my suggestions. They saw what was happening and let many executive go. Unfortunately, key clients were lost, many employees lost jobs, and the relationships that were built over many years of service and collaboration between clients and vendors were damaged and may not be fixable."

"I enjoyed working with the great people there. It was a very rewarding enviroment."

"Be prepaired!"

What don't you like about working at Schawk!?

"Layoffs would happen twice a year."

"Management could be stiffeling at times."

"The professional environment in terms of the building, access to gym and very nice .A few of the employees were very genuine and professional."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you are a very fast learner, very detail -oriented, can concentrate in a distractive environment. Multi-tasking and understanding procedure of different projects is very important to understand. This job has potential to be a good career but is extremely intimidating in the beginning. It is very hard to grasp everything that is required in the amount of time that is expected. Also, I recommend turning down going to lunch with co-workers, unless you happen to like to drink alcohol during work hours."

What don't you like about working at Schawk!?

"The lack of professionalism among co-workers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"That the management takes a close look at the time that the employees spend at their jobs. Such as the amount of time that is spent talking, gossiping, laughing loud and being disruptive. The job title required a lot of focus and concentration which was very hard to do in the environment."

"Not much really. I guess the office/photo studio is nice, but is in a really bad neighborhood."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It is unlikely that you will interview with the company. About 99% of all full-time employees (at least those in the the creative roles) worked as temps first. Only very rarely will they actually interview outside to fill a role."

What don't you like about working at Schawk!?

"Management lacks all ability to plan. No concept of work/life balance. Lousy pay. No growth opportunities. Management not open to ideas from workers. management expects you to come in to work any time they ask regardless of time of day or night or weekend, usually to cover their tails because they did not plan properly. I have had vacations canceled at the last minute, missed my train home, and all sorts of nastiness. On top of the already low pay they cut evreyone's salaries by 5%, even though they remained profitable in this down time."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn to plan or hire people who can. Get real with the pay, you are about 20% below the going market rate for experienced people. learn to see your employees as your greatest asset and treat them as such. Get a real understanding of work/life balance."

"Try to get a job at the corporate office because the local branches keep getting consolidated"

"Corporate Office keeps closing local branches to do more with less and sending jobs off shore"

"Keep Americans Employed"

"Creative shop, Website redesign, and Branding opportunities are available at Real Branding. Plus lovers of Beer: Real Beer."

"They no longer offer services for Online Media."

"Bring back online Media buying and planning. Right now Real Branding offers web site design and branding opportunities."

"Work culture is terrible. Low morale. Sweatshop like workplace. Upper management concerned only about bottom line. Unfair promotion practices. No program or concern for career advancement. Low pay."

"The company was vary fair in almost everything pertaining to schedules and understanding of employees needs"
