"I had a great deal of responsibility that was evenly split between the analytical aspects of business (Sales Analysis, Costing, Inventory Planning and the logistics of space planning) and the creative aspects of business (IE: Product Development & Design and Store Design and roll-outs.)"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would suggest any person interviewing with this company (or any for that matter) get a clear understanding of what the exact job description is and its responsibilities. I also feel a person need to have a clear understanding of the degree of support they will receive and the degree to which they are expected to work autonomously."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Since my tenure at Scandia, the organization switched it's model to a licensee business model - I believe this was a good move as it allowed the company to be more particular as to where they placed the product. Management needs to be consistent in their support of the licensed stores and provide them with a product that is both unique and priced correctly."
