"Think of this company as a great stepping stone. Research and read reviews. Ask to talk to current staff members before accepting a position."

What don't you like about working at South Bay Mental Health?

"In most offices there are no on site supervisors so we fend for ourselves most of the time and if we make a mistake the higher ups make a federal case out of it. The pay for office staff is very low. Since the company has changed hands, the focus seems to be more on money and less on client care."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would like to see on site supervisors for each office, better training for all levels of staff and higher pay. The agency has lost some very good people in all positions because of the low pay. Pay people what they are worth and they will stick around."
