"I had to have emergency knee surgery and was supposed to return to work in 1 month. They terminated me and my insurance the day before the surgery."

"Management needs to be replaced with people that actually care about their employees. Needs to quit being scandalous and treat employees with respect."

"You have to take into consideration that I didn't want to leave this organization, I was laid-off"

"The management team does not need any recommendation from me, from my perspective they are a very professional organization"

"The employees that actually give patient care is the best thing I can say about this facility. Most of the nursing staff genuinely care about the patients. As for the DON, she is not very respectful to the nursing staff. She does not care about her staff and barely speaks when she passes you in the hallway. She reprimands on a daily basis. There is no chance to correct what you did. There is no privacy or confidentiality when she has a write up for you. All staff is aware of your write up because they present it to you when you are in your co-workers' presence. The DON is a very spiteful individual and cares about no one but herself. There are different rules for those who do not give patient care,or keep the facility or laundry clean. Mgmt has a clique."

"I am an experienced nurse and by far this is the worst company I have worked for. All the focus is on the budget and showing a profit, never on quality of care for the patients they serve. Patients lay in soiled beds and clothing, poor quality of food, frequently not enough supplies and many employees use drugs. Staff carries cell phones, curse, don't wash their hands and in general don't follow basic rules. The worst is staff is always short, which means poor care is given. I would never place my loved one in a Sava facility."
