"I have been with San Mateo Gymnastics for about a year and a half. With my short time being here I have accomplished great things. I was able to help the program in many ways. Post Larry Nassar scandal, Coaching has changed. Coaches are treated with very little respect from parents and gymnasts. My perspective for this job has changed and I no longer think that is something I want to continue. The gym is very high energy and tense environment. The staff is very friendly and I had a great relationship with everyone. Although, I would not recommend a friend to work here. It is a very high-risk low reward job."
