"Be yourself. Get to know about the business so that you will be able to tell them how you fit, and what your contribution will be"

"I was unable to become a new home sales consultant, so my salary was not supplemented by commissions and performance bonuses."

"None in particular, except that I think they made a mistake to let me go, but there were just too many people who had been there before me, so last hired, first laid off..."

"If you were in Sales/Management - it is one of the best place to work for. Their training is intense, but creative and innovative. They have a great sales team and their management team are all on the same page. It is all about the best in service, and the MGHSD is rated one of the top - high quality service in the convention hotels in San Diego."

"This is one of my favorites: To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there. KofI Annan"

"Growth. I think that if an employee excels in her current role and needs to be challenged that management should see that and nurture and grow this employee for a promotion."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Growth. Look for your employees who are great at what they do and is looking to be challenged - mold and raise them for promotion so they remain loyal to you. When an opportunity opens up - internal employees should have the first opportunity to apply first and they should be encouraged. (Not because you need to be challenge so to promote you - we will transfer you to another property..)"

"They need to start their degreed employees incomes at $40,000"

"It was a wonderful place to work. I was laid off due to Michigan's economy and the ongoing problems with GM and the newspaper business."
What do you like about working at Metro-Suburbia?
"My position was very challenging and multi-dimensional - every day presented new and different problems and situations. I worked very independently but also had lots of direct contact with my boss and my coworkers - we all worked very well as a team."
