"Within the SDR department, there is a very high turnover rate because it's very rare to see someone get promoted to an AE position. I have been an SDR for almost 2 and a half years as a consistent top performer and have only seen 3 people become AE's. Most AE's are external hires from our competitors. Now you can't even become an AE from the SDR role. If you start as an Inbound SDR you have to be in that role for a year before you're eligible to apply to be an Outbound SDR, and from there you have to be on Outbound for a full year before you can compete against your peers for an Associate Account Executive role (there are only two spots every year) which is basically a glorified SDR position that you need to be in for another year before you can be considered to be an AE. The AE spots for past SDR's are the lowest ranking AE's with the smallest territories. You need to work that territory for at least a year but usually several years before being eligible for an SMB AE role. Most people realize how big of a waste of time that is when they can be making twice as much money and gaining closing experience working for another organization. I do not recommend this SDR position if you have plans to develop your career in a timely manner. Upper management doesn't have your back, even if you've produced a lot for the company. The SDR's get treated like children, going on vacation can turn into them taking every lead you've worked and giving them away for others to work, if you're not hitting quota you should try and search for another job because they have fired people for that, most of the managers were SDR's and have no management experience which leads to micro-managing and lack of proper support. I will say I gained useful technical knowledge on selling software but working for this company came with more stress than I've ever experienced in my life. If you're not willing to fight for your rights they will take advantage of you."

"I worked for Sage Intacct for 3 years. During my time I was given the ability to work directly with our highest and most valued customers, providing Services as well as assisting them with product knowledge and future growth. Unfortunately Intacct has gone through major changes since the acquisition from Sage. There are some good changes, but lots of poorly executed changes as well. New management and lack of communication has taken away from what Intacct has been known for. New Directors/Managers don’t put in the effort to understand their employees and micromanage."
