RXP Wireless Anonymous Employee
in New Albany, OH

"RXP Wireless is an investment group out of Ohio run by the owner, Bryan Delaney. This group is responsible for buying small independently-run Verizon stores in both Ohio and now Michigan. They promise benefits upon benefits, with something like a mountain of money that is, in their minds, within reach. They have a specific structure in place that includes setting every store up with "Rebiz" - a camera system that counts customers as they come and leave - and if you don't sell to them, you are worthless to the company... even if it is a married couple buying one phone, or a group of teenagers hanging out while their pal buys a phone. If you don't sell to all of them, you may soon have a talk about your future in the company. After buying out several stores in Michigan, it soon became their lot in life to clean house, fire everyone, and start from scratch. People who have been working for decades were suddenly trash. They didn't matter. If you made an amazing sale - you were stupid because you didn't add on a car charger, or gave the old crippled lady with the flip phone an iPad Air 2. RXP Wireless is negative. Nothing makes them happy, and if you attempt to be positive, you will be shut down in the process. Never will you hear good job, nice job, keep of the good work, or better luck next time. There is NO job security. You can and will fear the possibility that someone will take your job. Then, when you are fired, the entire company is informed. Stores who don't even know you are told that you are fired. Employment terminations are constant, several times a day they email you about who was fired today, whether that be sales reps, managers, or even district managers, no one is safe. This is not a good place to work. You will drown in stress over things that are impossible to change. It is all based on unrealistic expectations and failure to understand how customers work. Don't even apply. Please."
