"While I appreciate the opportunities I have been given at my current company, the industry does not have long-term stability."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I am in the unique position in that I am interviewing for a part-time graphics person in my area. It is a difficult balance but, for someone coming in at a certain level, I do think that there is viability to working here. However, I am looking for long-term growth potential and, anyone in the same mind-set, should proceed with caution."

What don't you like about working at The Robert Allen Group?

"I do not enjoy the instability of the industry. Textiles are a luxury item and the strength of the industry is tied to the housing market. Furthermore, we are a wholesaler and there is a growing trend of oversees mills selling direct to the customer base."

"As business has become more unstable, there has been a decline in communication and openness within the organization. This has had a direct effect on morale and confidence of the staff. Every employee understands the challenges and management should not discount this fact."
