"I worked for Ringcentral about a year after my relocation to the US. Due to Covid-19, all my work was remote, so I can't say anything about workplace, I didn't see my coworkers in person. It was a good job, but not enough possibilities to progress as automation tester."
"I had great experience and very good team environment"
"Great company in the cloud telephone system space."
"It has been a great ride on the RingCentral rocket. The company is an execution machine."
"will add more details later"
"The customer service is not helpful. Even with their help, we are unable to properly configure the systems to handle two-line capability. The system will not call leads first, so we have spent more time than it's worth. I would recommend trying everything else before this product unless you want to invest serious time and money."
"Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Ever since I first signed up they have obviously changed the way they handle customer service. Originally they had their own call center with staffed agents. Then I started noticing situations where they had "level" techs. These were basically glorified secretaries that took all your information, said pretty words and then transferred to someone who dealt with the issue. It was inconvenient and time consuming but it wasn't a horrible experience. Now when you call it is straight up a call center reading off a script. They have no idea what the product even is and they just try to help you by pointing out the website FAQs or telling you something they are reading off a piece of paper. They are trained so horribly that you can actually detect the timing when they are reading off the paper. Horrible customer service."
"Product failures, business drivers and impacts. Near constant issues - daily/weekly - total shut down, data integrity issues, carrier issues - too many to list. Serious impact to my business growth as we are spending 80% of our time managing these issues. My team's morale has plunged."
"No proper training, get yelled at for not knowing something you never got trained on. Management rude to customer and employees. My anxiety got so bad working there I would have panic attacks going into work. Would not pay proper overtime. We are being sold so what is the point to stay here."
"They try to find better help elsewhere instead of promoting within. They do not tell you the facts when you start working there and it will cost you your job eventually."
"I did not find anything good. Absolutely zero flexibility, management are egomaniac morons, low pay. Had to stand in line to clock in."
"Management expects you to complete endless tasks creating a lose-lose when it comes to the work you do. If the manager doesn't like you, you won't move up. No matter your degree, experience."
"The downside of this job is it is overwhelmingly busy. Way too much to do for one person at this pay rate. It's unbelievable what is expected of you to accomplish in a short time. It's very stressful. Not many pros to working here. They rope you in with an enticing salary and then fire you on little issues."
"Such a negative atmosphere, leadership has no direction, high turnover so nobody knows whats going on, terrible culture. Everyone is disposable. The more you make, the bigger target you represent."
"The company doesn't seem to do all that well on the market, that's a concern for the future and it also reflects potential internal issues that are not being resolved. Lack of competence and proper leadership in some teams and areas is a source of frustration. Also, the company is not very generous when it comes to promotions and yearly salary adjustments. The overall attitude towards employees sometimes falls short, especially in tough situations when someone has to leave the company."
