What do you like about working at Richland School District?

"Education is important work- and I enjoy working with students and teachers. Everyone has the capacity to learn and enjoy learning new things. There is a lot of wonderful things that this organization promotes and supports- and I am proud to be a part of the good work done with them."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Have enthusiasm about what you are teaching and always be ready to present the material in fresh ways. It is always helpful also to have had some experience with groups of children and adults, and always be respectful... and have practiced public speaking skills."

What don't you like about working at Richland School District?

"The teachers and substitute teachers are hard working and need to be fairly compensated. The staff should be increased to provide a better student / teacher ratio - often the ideal classroom effectiveness suffers due to overcrowded conditions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The management does a good job, but there is always room for improvement in providing better support and training opportunities for the teachers throughout the year, and compensating them well."
