"This is a warning to anyone looking to apply to this job, the sole provider at this private clinic is unprofessional, and rude. She will call you an idiot, and she routinely bad-mouths her staff to her patients. She consistently overbooks, and there is no work/life balance. Working hours are 8:10-5:30, with only a 30 minute lunch (you will rarely, if ever, get to leave at or before 5:30. This is also never discussed during your hiring process, and it is mandatory to stay as late as it takes. I was once there until 7:15pm). The doctor plays favourites, and you will have to adapt quickly, or you'll end up on her naughty list. I strongly suggest watching/observing everyone before you start to express yourself at this job. This was my first 'real' job after college, and I have quickly come to understand the notion that majority of your co-workers are not (and should never be) your friends. All that I can advise is for you to go to google, and read the 1,2, and 3 star reviews... they are not fictitious, and these reviews go back 4 or 5 years. The turnover rate is higher than Walmart haha. You will see people come and leave if you last there 6 months. The patients will also bring up the fact that no one remains, and that the turnover rate is very high. I have had patients tell me to quit, or that they feel sorry for us. I had a middle-aged patient recently tell me that she works at a big hospital and has never seen a doctor as outrageous as Dr. Myers. This patient swore she would not return, and she didn't. She sees a new retina doctor now. (This patient was actually the one who helped me find a new job. She recommended me at her old job, and I applied shortly thereafter.) Lastly, if you put in your 2 weeks notice, she forces you to have an 'exit interview' with herself, and her 20s yr old son (who is solely there to sit in the corner as a 'witness'). If you express yourself truthfully, then you are asked not to return to work for your final 2 weeks."
