Resorts World Casino Employee

"I worked for Resorts World for 5.5 years. The union pay was quite good, I got to work with a lot of great people, learn a lot about all the aspects of a/v for live events, conventions, concerts, tv and film shoots, corporate a/v (and more) and I even got to rub elbows with a great deal of famous people. However, it is a typical corporate environment that leads to management only caring about its people as much as the law requires them. A wholly backwards sick/vacation leave system, that literally punished me for having to be in the hospital for three days, is quite demoralizing, and leads to a poor work-life balance. Long hours and copious overtime are to be expected, but their stingy hiring practices leave much to be desired."
