3.5Renewal is a great place to work if you are seeking positive relationships with your supervisors & management, co-workers, or brand image. The income potential is fantastic but does come at a price. As a sales person or "design consultant" it can be increasingly challenging with extended drive times, multiple administrative tasks that consistently change, and a poorly established system of communication. Like any sales job there is always the pressure to hit your numbers and produce what the company feels is a good mark. NO MATTER WHAT you do in this position, it will never be enough to guarantee your place. There is no question that there is a 6 figure income to be had, but for how long is the real question. There are only a handful of people that can make this a long-term fit and if you are one of the gifted few, this will be a great place to work. If you have any hopes of growth within the company that may not be a possibility either. The only other opportunities would be demotions within the company that pay less for less hours and with the same if not more responsibilities.
2.1I have worked for Renewal by Andersen since 2019. I was extremely excited to begin this position. It was remote, they promoted work/life balance, and said how much they were like a family. At first, it was great. They were helpful when I had a question and kind. A couple weeks into the position I started noticing a change. They weren’t as kind, specifically the supervisor. I was told one thing, once I completed the task, I was told it was wrong. I was told I make them feel like a bettering ram. I was told that this job was like breathing to them, and that teaching me how to “breathe” is impossible. I felt like I was the problem and was doing something wrong. I thought maybe if I researched and studied more, I would do better. I later came to find out, the other person they hired with me had quit. I asked her what had happened. She had been experiencing all the same issues I currently am. I made a promise to myself to keep pushing through and remain positive. By doing this I thought it would get better. Although I am still pushing through, the comments and work environment are just getting increasingly worse. I feel I have no choice but to apply to an employer who will appreciate my work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn whatever is thrown at me. I know I am valuable, and I know what I can bring to the table. I don’t want to be a statistic, I want to be an employee who contributes to other employees like myself.
2.4I’ve worked for Renewal by Andersen since 2019. Overall it has been a test for me personally. I go to work trying my absolute best every day. I ask questions, I research, I implement feedback, I am courteous to customers, and I do what I am supposed to do. Unfortunately, that isn’t always enough. Sometimes you can do all or these things and it still doesn’t feel like it’s good enough. I made myself a personal promise to push through the negativity. There becomes a point when it is no longer just negativity, but toxic. If you are looking for a challenge, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a cohesive team environment where it feels like family, keep looking.
