"I've worked for Reef for about 2 years and it's been a challenging, exciting, and frustrating experience. It's been very exciting because I grew up in the surf industry and also wanted to get a taste of what it'd be like to work within it and close to something I love so much. And going on production can't be bad in the surf industry right? It's been challenging coming from an agency background because of the different levels of creativity, organization, project levels, briefs, and budget sizes. The surf industry is much smaller and it reflects on the size of projects, budgets, and what the involvement is in them. I think that it's been frustrating in similar ways, but also in a fun way to try and beat the briefs in different methods of production, strategy, and creative expression. It's just been a different experience and in the grand scheme of things, I'm grateful for it. It's been really exciting and I'm glad I dove into it."
