What don't you like about working at RCN Corp.?
"Customer service and Sales are two separate divisions and switching from support to sales I was treated like I left the company and started working someplace else. After 4 years in Tech Support / Customer Service I was recruited to Sales. The pay was awesome, but after 911 things just went downhill for RCN. They started cutting back and eventually outsourced 300 positions to NC, and the Philippines. I was laid off at 94% to quota when normally we have to be above 80% and there was a hiring freeze so I couldn't go back to tech support."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management has things under control. The company has one of the best micromanaged monitoring systems I have come to see in my life. THis would be from HR, to Payroll, to Breaks, Call times, On Call activities, Training and Development, to name a few..."
