"Where to begin... the company culture is terrible and it starts from the top down. The CEO is incorrigible and does not listen to advice from others. The CEO will micromanage every department, especially the sales department. He believes it's so easy to sell our product, but he has no idea. Everyone is pushed to their limits. The attrition rate is high, so don't get used to having co-works stick around for very long. If you think you are entering the sales team to be a trusted, experienced, professional. Think again, because they will only treat you as a glorified SDR/BDR. You will spend more time have to track and talk about metrics than you will actually getting in front of customers. They also push the sales team to do outrageous things with customers like calling personal cell numbers during the holiday's. They say you're the "CEO of your own business", but they do not trust or give you the reigns to complete your duties. Product improvements are too slow to deploy and when they are, it's executed poorly and you are constantly walking back your messaging with customers. Reliability of the system is a constant problem as well. Overall, it's a really bad place to work. I would stay far, far away from Rapid Micro Biosystems"
"RMB'a mission in the Life Sciences sector is simple: provide the best R&D testing product to let the brilliant minds working to bring new drugs, therapies, and protocols forward in the most pro-active, efficient, and secure way possible. It was my pleasure to tell the company's story to many enthusiastic applicants and work closely with several hiring managers, ensuring that their teams were being staffed with the best possible candidates. There's a genuine sense of responsibility and accountability at every level of employee, regardless of what they do. I very much enjoyed working with an approachable, respectful, and honest senior management team. My supervisor had a similar career trajectory to mine, and we often bounced ideas for improvement off of each other, leading to a greater sense of accomplishment."
