"Rain Bird can be an interesting place to work. There are opportunities for advancement and to work on new product development. There is still the sustaining work on existing products, quality issues, cost reduction programs. They do pay well for the position but the environment is very conservative and the president can micromanage his subordinates."

"I've worked with Rain Bird for 6 months and have found the people are very supportive and the work challenging. Objectives are established early, so targets are quickly known, and your ability to start making an impact is almost immediate. My supervisor is supportive and available for input as I need her on various projects."

"Very poor leadership which results in low morale. This directly impacts productivity and quality. Part of the poor leadership culture can be directly traced to the HR Director. She is clueless about what motivates people and what they need to become loyal, dedicated employees. She needs to go sooner than later."
