"I worked for Public Storage for several years and found the company good. You have to work a lot of hours to get the job done and there is a poor work/life balance. The stock options are good but take too long to vest and the average tenure for a District Manager is less than the vesting time."

"I have worked for public storage for three years as a resident property manager. This company gave me experience, and experiences I never thought I'd get. It's a hurdle for many people in training because they throw you out in the field at properties you have never seen even before training is finished. as the KTP this is a very poor way for DMs to treat my trainees. Violence or harassment from customers is also a frequent problem working alone at properties. I have personally called police on many occasions. Security is lacking to protect employees leaving work at night. Particularly females. Feeling unsafe is a primary reason for an employment change."

"I've worked for Public Storage since 2017. I have learned a tremendous amount about the storage industry, but have found the leadership does not care about their employees or customers. The company has over 2,200 locations world wide and is the leader in the storage industry."

"You are called a Property Manager HUH? Minimum pay compared to Mc donald Fry person make $2 more. You are not managing the property you are Cleaning the Old and nastiest building that is infested with rats or snakes. Breathing is very hard in this place due to bad Odors. Not even water is provided for workers. Also you will never have a set schedule rather will be working in random properties every week. Too much dust as you are walking miles and miles daily to clean the property.Working alone is another thing. 30 minute unpaid break you can't even make it to any restaurant. BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED FOR. Will not even recommend my enemies to work there"

"You will be promoted without pay and discriminated against they'll talk about your sexuality behind your back you will be fired for mental illness and they will not support you or your family if they are in the military they don't care there's no diversity in this company you're either an illegal or you'll be fired because 90% are illegals. Your district manager does not support you she would much rather support the employees who are on drugs and aliens the company will hire you on drugs and will allow you to use the equipment and run into walls on drugs and you will keep your job if your drug addict like sexual harassment and be talked about public storage is the place for you. And let's not talk about they don't care about mental illness and they never will it's a money hungry industry and all they want is money money money money that's it money and you will be broken into because it's an inside job there's not one location that hasn't been broken into not one multiple times"
