"Negotiate the starting pay, raises can be sporatic and below market value for the area. Don't expect the job to be what's advertised, it usually sounds more glamorius than it is."

"Provide opportunites for people to grow. Communicate goals prior to evaulation time with the employee (mid year review ...) No end of the year surprises on eval that affect bonuses"

"Amazing opportunities. Worked directly with company clients in meetings and in formal and informal presentations to clients and internal staff. Senior staff are skilled, knowledgeable, savvy and great teachers."

"Show an eagerness to learn and a good work ethic. Be professional, but don't worry all that much about formality if you're a programmer."

"As an intern, limited opportunity for in-company growth; would have to get lucky. Still a great experience to build towards a career elsewhere, though."
