The leadership team works hard to ensure sales reps are training and have access to the resources necessary to be successful, however some sales processes need to be improved upon or simply replaced. In some cases these processes become an active deterrent to getting deals to the finish line."
"Proofpoint has a best-in-class product, but their focus and success are primarily in the space of the named and major accounts. The inside sales team doesn't generate much of the company's revenue, so the resources available to them are limited (e.g. not much marketing, less awareness among your target accounts as a result, pricing not competitive in the space), but the expectations are still high. If you can work through the Inside team to move to Field or other areas of the company, it's a great path, but the Inside team is not one to stay on for long."
