"The maintenance department is small and they will hire you for a job but that job will change very drastically over the time that you are there. As an electrician, I have no issues turning a wrench when needed but most of my job currently is being a mechanic and having my Journeyworker Card makes that very disheartening and very hard to go to work every day. the main production boss is all about numbers and if you can't prove him wrong on what you are doing then you dont stand a chance at getting what you are trying to get to make the place better. it makes it very hard to keep a positive attitude about the facility overall, on top of having to cater to the laziest people because when they mess up it is all of a sudden maintenances problem and then we catch the heat for it."
"Mill job with no advancement opportunities."
