"To be honest I only took the job at the time due to the economy being so bad. There were simply no other jobs at the time. You're expected to do the work of 4 people while on shift everyday. You are paid minimum wage with no chance to move up. I never in my life worked so hard for such little pay. They expect you to act like cops. On top of that you will get blamed for everything. If you have a question on how to do your job better, the answer will be everything is covered in the training book. When you tell them it's not, the supervisor will get extremely mad at you to the point he will yell at you. Then after he chews you out he will then threaten to fire you. You're not seen as a person. I'm not sure if it's the security company or the place I worked at, but someone did not have security in mind at all. The site is always short handed. Even to this day. Something major always happens due to this. Cars being broken into and vehicle parts being stolen. And this became common when I worked with them. A vehicle gets stolen 3 times a month or more due to the area and major lack of a security budget. We were not allowed to tell the customers the truth. We had to play dumb or risk being fired. PSC stinks of shadiness. The co workers took the job way too serious for only making minimum wage. You always had to use legit police codes while talking to them on break or you get looked at like you're crazy. Coworkers do not make you feel welcome at all. Found out the hard way they will use everything to their advantage to move up if it means more money. They will purposely not train you right on a certain task so you get blamed. They will leave you out to dry. You didn't have a say on the hours you work. Didn't matter if you had a family emergency. If you couldn't work they would drop your hours to 16 a week and tell you, "Well, we asked you to come in but you couldn't make it." They give you that whole speech. Stress levels went off the chart working for this company."

"The job is very unprofessional. I only work for them to get a pay check. They are shady. Fast to ask for favors and work you over 100 hours but if you try to go home from work exhaustion you get talked to and written up. If you're good friends with the boss you can take your lover to the parking structure and do your business. Part of the job is to make sure no one goes near the vehicle as they do their um, work. You can use one of the offices too. Very shady."

"I have to agree with the other reviews I have seen. To be honest if the economy wasn't so bad I would of quit a long time ago. The only way you make it is if you act like a robot. Don't ever ask questions . The on the job training is a sad laughing joke. Every time I ask what I can do to improve on skills I get shot down. Answer is always nothing we can do. Took 6 months to get my cpr card an ex workers are allowed to have sex top level of the parking structure and we are supposed to keep it hush."
