Proctor Financial Employee

"I have worked at Proctor Financial for quite a few years. It is a company where the culture is only so-so. Proctor is a midsize corporation owned by Brown and Brown Inc. They provide insurance and insurance tracking services to Community Banks, and Big Banks/Mortgage Lenders as well. The company prides itself as a leader in the industry. However, their proprietary systems have major flaws and the company loses a couple accounts every year. The company's HR policies is also the worst in the industry. The company gives you titles such as, account manager, underwriter, team lead, supervisor, QC coordinator, however wages reflect McDonald's crew members. The company has a maximum raise of 3% every year and will not give anything above that even if they promote you to a higher title. The company's financial performance is also on a downward slope with revenue and profit declining every year. The company invest heavily in implementing new accounts but the lifetime benefit after acquiring those accounts do not usually exceed the investments made to implement the accounts. Proctor Financial is a place to get entry level corporate America experience and move on. Do not stick around in this company with the hopes of advancing your career and making more than what you will join. Essentially envision yourself making 3% more every year from what they start you off at regardless of how hard you work, and how much more responsibilities you take on. The managers of this company are usually really great and laid back. However the pay and the atmosphere in this company is not up to par with midsize corporations of its kind."
