"Price Chopper/Golub corporation has been in the supermarket industry for over 80 years! Yes, I have worked for them for 20 years and still going strong. They are a company with true family values and support communities to help families and people in need. I would highly recommend anyone from high school kids to adults looking to build a new career to apply here!"

"During my short time at this company, I find management to be unresponsive to employee concerns such as respecting the individual, scheduling work hours, limited breaktime (15 min.). I give high marks to my peer associates who are always helpful and respectful."

"Used to be a good company to work for, but with new upper management things have gone downhill. Understaffing in all departments. Constantly being bombarded with more paperwork while cutting back on hours. Store manager barely works 40 hours while department heads work 45 or more. Constantly threatened with job. Unconcerned about employees having a life outside of work. Very little positive feedback."

"This store has gone through many store managers that view the store differently. Current manager is a major ass. No personality and it's really hard to work for this man when he's not nice to you. Company in general sucks. Little to no hours and severely understaffed. Job is great for kids starting out but NOT for adults. No advancement at all. We get no bonus or deals on nothing. Company big wigs come in and treat you like scum. Save yourself the trouble and aggravation and DON'T APPLY."

"Company is currently undergoing a transformation. Once family run, changing towards a different hierarchy. Pay is above scale, but there is sometimes limited support from upper management. Directions are often not clear among all channels of the company. Staffing continues to be an issue in all locations. Maybe once they get a clear direction the company will once again flourish."

"Lower management employees are generally not very bright, and very mean spirited. Upper store management is not much better. Hours are sporadic and lower management admitted that they were given out based on how much they liked an associate. The company is currently not a very good employer."
