"Put people in management that actually know how to operate a printing department."

"Once I proved that was able to do my job with very minimal supervision, all I had to do is to follow our every day schedule and keep my press running and minimized down time."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you are interviewed by the right person so you can explain yourself and let them know who you are and what you really looking for."

What don't you like about working at Fanfare Media Works?

"Every print shop has problems keeping quality print, when I started working at Fanfare I noticed they have some problems that I knew how to improve or fix due to previous experience, my manager never took my advice and keep blaming our old press, he was not open for new ideas."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to the operator that deals with the press 8 to 10 hrs a day, specially if they have experience from other printing shops some times your problems could be improved or solve."

"I liked setting color and registration. I also, liked making the press ready for future runs as well as the independence that we had on the job."

What don't you like about working at The Star-Ledger?

"When just getting started as an employee at the Star-Ledger, they didn't offer a training program or much guidance, you were just thrown in to the mix, which was quite stressful."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest to implement a short training program maybe a month, which I feel would benefit management, the employee and all the other workers as well as the customer."
