"We were the small dog in the fight and did not have funds to stay up with competition at times."

"It was direct about what we needed to do. We were able to get Ownership from out of state to stay out of our way."

"Difficult to make it your own. But, if you can get an ear - they have an opportunity to turn it around. Will they listen is the big issue."

What don't you like about working at Platinum Hotel and Spa?

"Expected managers to fill in more often than is expected for hourly staff to keep costs down."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need to have local management - not people from other markets who dont understand how this market is different."
