"Depends on which department you work for. Production is (surprise!) dramatic, while the tech roles are similar to other Silicon Valley tech companies. They make efforts to be inclusive and resist corporatization by Disney, and they are sometimes successful at both. There is no upward mobility, but it's a great opportunity to learn because many of the people who started the company are still there."

"I've worked for Pixar for the past 5 months on the Universal Scene Description project. It's been a great experience and I've gained an incredible number of skills from my team and their development environment. Pixar has some awesome proprietary technologies, but has to support a massive code base."
