What do you like about working at Geisinger Health System?

"Working with the physicians and knowing my efforts were positively impacting the end user the patient."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Always keep your eyes and ears open. Be careful who you trust, there is not alot of loyalty amonst the ranks."

What don't you like about working at Geisinger Health System?

"Decisions were made at a senior level without truly researching the impact or buy in from those who would refer into the system. As a result alot of money was spent on unsuccessful business decisions which would require things to be changed and more money spent. The desired outcome was not realized in many situations due to shooting from the hip."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would say really look at what the internal processes and make sure things are working appropriately before building and adding more services. Bigger is not always better if you can't serve the patient base that already exists."
