What do you like about working at Shea Homes?
"Small privately held company that wasn't constantly beating you over the head with what would increase their stock price. Very family minded organization."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very civil, show good manners, and leave your field lingo at the door. It has no place in a professional office environment, and Shea is big on letting you know that."
What don't you like about working at Shea Homes?
"The fact that preference for promotions was given based on religious affiliations was constantly flying around the office, and some examples of that were obvious. However, they were also very merit driven, and factored that into their selection processes more."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, just don't turn into backstabbers, like many in middle management are, when business gets slow."
