"At first, consulted for a cloud provider in solving day-to-day chores, implemented product catalog changes, fixed bugs in a new variant of SQL language used for brand new / in research cloud storage engine. It looked like my agility in learning language impressed my manager, a very accomplished young engineer, and he asked me to help gather logs from cloud financial back - ends distributed across the globe. The issue was intermittent failures, cloud flickering. I have implemented a static distributed algorithm, that closely emulated a probabilistic model of failure and nicely fused performance needs and accuracy. So, we got the first self-healing data-gathering machine. The next step was implementing a completely alternate way of gathering financial data. At first, our group, People Tech, funded this R&D. We managed to impress the leadership of cloud providers, they hired our company to actually implement POC that I created. It was amazing. The company, my manager, really did bring out the best from me."
