Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Definitely bring forth a positive mind set to the company. It can be stressful working in a restaurant so stress the fact that you hold a positive mind set and enjoy helping guests. Another factor that could help an interested party would be to say that they a re a fast learner. The menu at PeI WeI does not have many items, but each dish does contain many ingredients. Knowing what is in each dish and knowing how it can be modified at the top of your head versus asking someone else saves time and makes you look more confident."

What don't you like about working at Pei Wei?

"Management would lack in their direction. One would never receive thanks if they did an excellent job, but if they made a mistake the entire restaurant heard."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Initiate an employee of the month along with a reward for achieving this honor.. This will motivate employees to work harder and provide better customer relationships. The program will also encourage managers to acknowledge the work employees have done in a more positive manner."
