"As a student design team, we did a lot of work for no pay since we worked WITH Peddinghaus, not FOR them. I would have much rather been employed as an intern while I was working on their design projects."

"I have no suggestions for the management at Peddinghuas. Word."

"interesting industry, with people hardened by it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Answer only when directly asked questions. To managers most important thing is not knowledge or drive to succeed, it is that prospective employees are willing to relocate, and plan on working there for many years to come. When answering questions be mindful not to use any current terminology as this may show that you are more qualified then the person interviewing you."

What don't you like about working at Peddinghaus?

"Career opportunities, innovation, and thinking outside of the box are not what this company is about. There is a feeling that any new or cutting edge technology is a passing fad, and that it should be ignored. The company is at best 15 years behind the current technologies. The reason it exists is for it's past and poor competition."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Most managers are relatively old (early baby boomers) and are satisfied with status quo. Until key management retires there will be little motivation for anything to be done to advance in innovation and technology."
