What do you like about working at Peace Corps?

"The professional and cross cultural challenges and the ability to travel meet new staff members and learn a few tricks and best practices from the older staff members. The continuing medical education available. The enthusiasm of the newly arrived patients and pride we took in providing care and education in preparing them for the field. The challenges to meet the professional goal annually as required by the organization. It was a great learning experience."

What don't you like about working at Peace Corps?

"The sadness of seeing patients or staff members leave who are unable to thrive or work in harsh environment or for admistrative reasons when they are unable to meet the required work goals, as well as, when they complete their tour."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep your focus, especially in the area of quality and experience. Encourage team work when required. Maintain a high level of professionalism and open communication. Expect a high level of respect for clients, and keep the autmosphere work-friendly w/user-friendly documentation and filing."
