Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I happen to think it was a great company when I worked there 2000-2006 and I would go back in a heart beat if I didn't love my current Pharma job so much. Interview, be positive, and know that contract is probably going to re-surge as the way of the future with all the Pharma downsizing going on. Companies still need a voice!"

What don't you like about working at PDI?

"You never knew when the contracts would end and you would be unemployed but the reality now is that you have the same worries with direct pharma sales!Lower bonus structure due to being contract. HR used to show a blind eye towards some management issues but I believe their old working model WORKED! Don't cast off previous employees if they were good! They tend to be a bit stubborn about that."

PDI Employee

"For many years it was a great experience."

What do you like about working at PDI?

"When I started there, people worked hard to help the company achieve its goals. Some important skillsets were needed but missing...but the human capital made up for those weeknesses. Overtime things got better because the former leadership was able to take the company forward. People were treated very well as far as I could see, although there were some groups who spoke differently compared to my viewpoint. In the end, the organization was a place to grow, learn new skills, and you could balance work and personal life...however my later experiences with PDI were not so favorable."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I understand the organization isn't like it used to be...which can have its positive and negative connotations."

What don't you like about working at PDI?

"When I was there, Senior Leadership had a vision and was able to turn PDI into a market leader. Later as Sr. Leadership changed, that didn't seem to be the case. Turnover at the top has brought in people with pharma and other experience, but not CSO experience which in my opinion led the organization to its present state."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I applaud the management team for finding professionals, but I've seen some of these professionals not understand the basic elements of what a CSO is/does come in to lead and give direction that negatively impacted the contracts with its clients. There was a lot of turnover at the top and it has gone well into middle management. I think that has led to the organizations struggle to win significant business, maintain clients, and provide new service offerings."

What don't you like about working at PDI?

"It is a sinking ship!!"

What do you like about working at PDI?

"People in my district. I am still in contact with them."

What don't you like about working at PDI?

"They payed bonus based on activity which encourages many reps to be dishonest which screws you with the pharna company and the reps so they would hire you in the future."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Remember your reps are the company. Be honest with them and don't change the bonus structure in the middle of the quarter."

Sales Representative

"Truthful and good foot in the door to pharma."
