PBS NewsHour Employee

"A small publicly funded organization. Was able to wear many hats and see different sides of the production. I don't like that funders and public events are our lifeline as opposed to ratings. I've never met my supervisor in person. Things seem rather unconventional because we're always at the mercy of funders. A lot of cooks in the kitchen but not a lot of room for growth."

"I'm honored to be a member of the team and a great individual thinkers among PBS NewsHour. Our Creative Director quit in October and there's no sense of urgency to replace him. Meanwhile I've taken on the responsibilities"
