"The flex time. The independence, ability to work on my own using my sound judgement and ability to make my own decisions."

"If you don't have any problem with not being supported and appreciated for your efforts, then definitely apply."

"Even though it is a union shop, management doesn't have any protection. My new boss doesn't back you up or offer support. You''re hanging out there on your own."

"Further management training or replacement. Your employees are an asset. Treat everyone with respect and make sure others do also."

"It was a 'family' atmosphere and for the most part everyone got along well."

"Make sure you are willing to work for a low salary since it is a non-profit organization."

"Guidelines and rules were not followed by all staff members."

"Look closely at what the directors are doing because they needed to be more consistent."

"I like my job because I can do it well, and I have the confidence with most things that I know what I'm doing. There is a rather large sexist attitude which gets me down...you will get nowhere as a woman in my department."

"If you get in to the right department, with a good department head, you will go far."
What don't you like about working at Dunnes Stores?
"Men are treated better than women in most cases. Very strict about timekeeping, work attire, etc. You are expected to give them everything but get nothing in return (no pay rise since 2008)."

"If I was in charge of my department, I would take more control over my staff. I would do more work myself. My boss doesn't even know some very basic things."

"There is no room for growth. You don't get a sense that you are valued by the company. It is a very reactive company, rather than a proactive company."
