"Working at Pasadena City College (PCC) the past five years in various roles, including Assessment Services, Admissions, and Career Services, has provided me insight into PCC's work culture which is very student-focused. Most of my colleagues share my passion for helping students navigate the community college system. There are a few people who you can tell have been working there too long and do not seem as dedicated to the work that we do. As long as you have a positive mindset and get your work done, it is easy to do great work by focusing on yourself and your students rather than any negativity that may arise from bitter people. It can be a bit competitive and difficult to move up at times, but opportunities do open up often, so maintaining good connections campus wide is very beneficial. Overall, I would recommend working here."
