"Excellent part-time job while you're pursuing other goals. Scheduling is flexible and the employer has your back if a client has an issue with you. Most common work is as a server at weddings and other events. Some events are private residential gatherings where the possibility of earning tips is much higher. I was promoted for stepping up as the lead server when there was a scheduling mistake and no lead server was assigned to the event (that was the only occasion I ever encountered such a mistake). The people-oriented nature of the job makes it great for networking and meeting people"
