"Poor training - The company gives VERY poor training, and when it comes time for management to explain why employees are not trained, they will basically blame you that you don't know what you are doing. They will basically throw you into the fire, knowing that you don't know what you are doing, making you fall flat on your face. They MAY pick you up and tell you that they will do some damage control."

"I worked for Parasoft for over 5 years, as both a software engineer and a Product Specialist. I had an excellent experience on both teams; Parasoft really values its people, and works hard to help them succeed and grow."

What don't you like about working at Parasoft?

"The way sales tends to happen all at the end of the month every month"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Break the sales commisions up to 1st week 2nd week not just end of month they would still all try to meet their quotas but it would be spread over the month. Less stress would run through the whole company"

"I was always learning new things. I was interacting with a lot of different technologies."

What don't you like about working at Parasoft?

"There wasn't a lot of training, you were kind of expected to figure most things out on your own. They were always glad to answer questions if you got stuck though."

"Some more training for lower level employees."

"The CEO roamed the halls in the morning looking for empty seats at 7:01 am to fire people!"

"The CEO should allow managers to hunt though their best, develope the best, and the CEO should look for strategic alliances and directions for the company."

"Don't believe what they tell you...."

"Upper management (including ownership) is clueless about how to treat the workforce and get them to work as a team for the company. Totally autocratic. Lie to their employees."

"Get out of the business of the company. Hire a team of manangers that know how to run a company."

"Knowledge of the field is good, but a willing spirit to learn goes a much longer way towards making a good impression."

"The CEO has massive mood swings depending on monthly sales and product progress. Screaming matches in the office is never conducive towards a good working environment."

"Anger management classes - in all seriousness. When the CEO is happy, everything's gravy. When he's not, just keep your head down and stay quiet."

"That sales are the key to being sucessful , not just the developers"
