What do you like about working at PAETEC?

"Really, not very much. I did enjoy my role as a Business Development Manager. I also enjoyed some of the many great people I met."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Go into it with open eyes. Ask a lot of questions about expectations in a sales role, brand recognition in areas where PAETEC is unknown, what advertising they do, etc.Also be sure they explain your comp. plan because for 9 months nobody could/would explain it to me! Finally, do you research and be sure to talk to employees who are already working there."

What don't you like about working at PAETEC?

"PAETEC just completed the McLeodUSA purchase when I came on board. I don't believe the McLeodUSA leadership that was folded into PAETEC were really on board with PATEC and I don't believe PAETEC fully understood how to conduct business in the central USA."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Consider replacing the leadership from Regional Director to VP/GM within the Central Area. There has been way too much turnover in sales reps and some RD's which is a direct reflection of poor leadership."
