"So just because they were the 3rd world's largest stock exchange doesn't mean that they had a clue..."

What do you like about working at Pacific Exchange?

"I did solve some problems in my short time there. Management never had a clue. I did make a new friend there, Alex, who is very sharp and one of my references. There could have been potential, but at a time when 9/11 hit, followed right after by scams in the market with the likes of Enron and other top companies, the job did not last and neither did the exchange - over a hundred years of history and they are gone now. What is left is owned by the NYSE."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They're gone now. But if they were still here, I'd advise you to highlight your skills with the abacus and stone & tablet documentation skills. Notice the pattern of my comments The good companies last. The one's that are poorly managed do not last."

What don't you like about working at Pacific Exchange?

"Systems were run on rubber bands and duct tape. Okay, that is a little exaggeration, but banging on keyboards with empty snapple and soda bottles for test was not!!! No joke. A manager that would talk talk talk but had no action nor clue Pretty bad place. I would be scared of my stock flowing through this exchange! It was a miracle any of their systems ever worked properly."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Operate like this at a place like Barclays and you would not last..."
