"I have worked for Owens for a year and in that time I have come to not enjoy being a machinist. This company has great owners but their floor supervisor has come straight out and said he is not a supervisor. He is just a machinist. This company is all about me and does not care about the employee."

"Good people and owners, but you have to be accepted by other shop people on the floor, may or may not happen"
What don't you like about working at Owens Machine and Tool Co.?
"I don't think they acknowledged to the shop before I got there I was a lead man and really wasn't allowed to do that job. Some of the shop personnel after finding that out held grudges over that. Some old school habits"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Trust the people you hire until they prove different. Would have loved to stay there,just felt not part of the team"
