"I started working at Ouster as an intern. The software team was around 15 people when I started. For most of my experience we all worked close to each other and it was easy to communicate and collaborate with everyone. We had a lot of freedom in how we worked and did not have much management structure until a couple months later. I converted to full time, but I would say seniority was not that important. Even being a new employee I still felt like I could communicate my ideas easily. Overall, I feel like the software culture was very kind and mildly chaotic."
