OSL Retail Services Employee

"I worked for OSL Retail services from July 2019 until around November 2019. Prior to taking the position of mobile expert with the company, I had read many negative reviews about the company on Indeed. However, being the optimistic person that I am, I ignored the negative reviews. This was a huge mistake. Management within this company do not care about the employees. There is a false presentation of a team atmosphere. In reality, all that those in management care about are those who sell the most. Also, the work environment is horrible. The customers within the retail location they place you in, are uninterested in the services that you are told to sell. There is no uniformity on the policies and procedures. For example, I had to sell cellphones and cellphone service with in a retail location which is primarily known for being a grocery store. The employees of said retail location were constantly contradicting the policies that those in management at OSL barked at us to enforce. Attempts were made to alert management of these contradictory issues, but nothing was done about it. Ultimately, management is the largest issue with OSL retail services. Those in management there only care about pressuring employees into hitting goals, so they can receiving their bonuses and scolding those employees who do not have as much luck."
