"I have worked for the Organization of American States (OAS) for 13 years as both a Senior Auditor and Acting Inspector General. The OAS is the world's oldest regional organization with 35 member states. Its main purposes are to promote democracy, human rights, multidimensional security, and integral development. Over the last few years, the organization has experienced severe financial difficulties that resulted in considerable budget cuts. Management was forced to reorganize and instituted a Reduction in Force (RIF).
