"Over at my summer internship at Orchid, I was able to learn a lot about the manufacturing process. We started off by improving the way the site tracks the operators daily production. And then moved on to other ways of making the manufacturing system smoother. The improvements we made were based on the lean/six sigma philosophy. At this job, I learned a great deal about communication and holding meetings. The management and the co-workers worked seamlessly since the management was always willing to try new things."
