While we remained profitable the loss of working capital made growing the business difficult and facilitated the decision to sell. It created a stressful period,"

"The company was purchased by Von Houtte of Canada. Since purchased by Green Mountain and now owned by Aramark. Industry in consolidation mode."
What don't you like about working at Orchard Corner Coffee?
"The capital to grow the company sometimes was restricted by available credit. 2008 resulted in a reduction of working capital by the bank. (lines of credit) and interest rate increases. Loss of customers due to closing led to sale."

"Management which included me evaluated the business model and as the business was still profitable outside investors may have been another effort to pursue."
